Aim

A vital element of any good photograph is composition. This workshop will show you how composition 'works'.

The aim is to help you to 'see' better, to be more precise and deliberate in your framing, resulting in more satisfying images.

Basic compositional 'rules';
Understanding elements of good composition;
Essential compositional devices;
How composition 'works';
Cropping for compositional effect;
'Seeing' pictures.

By the end of the workshop you will be far more confident in your construction of images. You will understand the various elements that combine to form an effective composition.

Your 'hit rate' of 'keeper' images will be much higher.
