Camera Use and Familiarisation
Aim
The aim of this workshop is to take you beyond the basics of
typical 'casual snap' photography to a point where you are
deliberately making images that better reflect the vision you
had in your mind's eye at the time you presses the shutter button.
What is covered
How cameras capture images;
What your camera can do;
How Aperture, Shutter Speed & Focal Length interrelate;
Understanding Exposure;
Understanding Focus and Drive options;
When to use Aperture Priority & Shutter Speed Priority modes;
When & how to use Exposure Compensation.
By the end of the workshop you will be far more confident in
the use of your camera. You will understand the various controls
and options, and when and how to make the most of them.
Your 'hit rate' of 'keeper' images will be much higher.
Elements of this workshop can be combined with my elements from
my other workshops to create your ideal package. I can also taylor
the precise workshop content to your particular photographic interests.
